Best Rivian R1S & R1T Accessories in 2026: What's Actually Worth It

By Matt, Niftly3D

If you've owned your Rivian R1S or R1T for more than a few weeks, you've probably started thinking about how to make it even better. The good news: the Rivian owner community is passionate, creative, and vocal about what works. The bad news: not everything marketed as a "Rivian accessory" is worth your money.

We own a Rivian R1T. We've bought, tested, and in several cases built our own replacements for the accessories that disappointed us. This is our honest list of what's actually worth it in 2026 — and a few things to skip.

1. Center console organizer — the upgrade most Rivian owners don't know they need

The Rivian center console is one of the most-discussed frustrations in the owner community. It's deep, wide, and completely unstructured from the factory. Everything you put in there slides around, stacks up, and disappears.

We built the Niftly3D Console Organizer specifically to solve this — a two-level system with a sliding upper tray for quick-access items and a deep lower bin for everything else. It drops in without tools, doesn't rattle, and is made from heat-resistant PETG so it won't warp in a hot car. The latest version features a redesigned slide mechanism that stays locked in place under hard acceleration and braking — something the first generation didn't get quite right.

It fits both the R1S and R1T across all model years.

What to look for in any console organizer: precision fit (generic inserts shift and rattle), heat-resistant material (PLA warps in hot interiors), and a design that gives you access to the lower storage without removing the top layer. A lot of products get that last part wrong.

Our pick: Niftly3D Rivian R1S & R1T Console Organizer — $109 direct, $119 on Etsy.

2. Full-length console tray — coming soon from Niftly3D

One of the most requested additions from our customers is a fixed full-length tray — no sliding mechanism, just a clean flat surface that spans the full console for owners who prefer a simpler layout. We're finishing this now and it will launch alongside the latest console organizer version. Sign up for early access at the bottom of this page to be the first to know.

3. Floor storage — a completely different problem, solved brilliantly

The center console organizer handles the upper storage. But there's a separate storage problem on the floor between the driver and passenger seats — and a fellow Rivian owner named Jason at JC 310 Designs has done an excellent job solving it.

His Sliding Center Floor Storage (V2) mounts between the seats on precision linear rails — it slides forward when you need access and locks securely while driving. It holds two 40oz Hydro Flasks plus everyday essentials, and is printed in PETG and carbon fiber-reinforced PETG for heat resistance and durability. Like us, Jason is a Rivian owner building for the community he's part of. The quality shows.

This is a complementary product to what we make — different space in the truck, different use case — and we're happy to point you toward it.

Community pick: JC 310 Designs Sliding Center Floor Storage V2

4. All-weather floor mats — protect the interior from day one

The Rivian interior is beautiful and the factory floor mats are decent, but if you use your R1S or R1T the way it was built to be used — off-road, in the rain, hauling gear — you'll want all-weather mats. Rivian makes their own laser-measured all-weather mats designed specifically for R1S interiors with raised edges to contain mud and water.

We'd go straight to the source on this one rather than a third-party option.

Our pick: Rivian R1S All-Weather Floor Mats — direct from Rivian's gear shop.

5. Phone mount — keep navigation visible while driving

One of the few ergonomic gaps in the Rivian interior is a dedicated phone mount for navigation apps. The Zelvoro Magnetic Phone Mount Dash Anchor is a clean solution — it plugs directly into the gap behind the dashboard on the driver side without adhesive or screws, and works with a 17mm ball arm that lets you position your phone exactly where you want it.

It's Rivian-specific (fits R1T Gen 1 and R1S 2022–2025, driver side only), which matters — generic mounts don't anchor securely enough for the Rivian dashboard.

Community pick: Zelvoro Magnetic Phone Mount Dash Anchor for Rivian R1T & R1S — available on Amazon.

What to avoid

A few patterns worth knowing before you spend money:

Generic "fits most vehicles" organizers: If the product page doesn't specifically mention Rivian R1S or R1T, it probably won't fit correctly. The Rivian center console has unusual dimensions and generic inserts shift, rattle, and frustrate.

PLA-printed accessories: 3D printed accessories are increasingly common for Rivian — some are excellent, some are not. PLA is the cheapest and most common printing material, but it softens at temperatures a car interior can easily reach on a hot day in Nevada, Texas, or Arizona. Look for PETG or CF-PETG for anything that lives inside the vehicle.

Products with no reviews from actual Rivian owners: The community is active and vocal. If a product has been out for more than a few months with no real owner feedback, that tells you something.
